Privacy notice

Builderkind Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the company behind Imanu and our other products. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.

Technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working.

Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect information about how you use the site, such as pages visited and how you arrived. We do not load analytics until you agree.

We use your information to reply to your messages and follow up on enquiries you start (our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract).

We use technical information to run, secure and improve the site (our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website).

We use analytics information only with your consent, to understand what is useful on the site. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website hosting, email and analytics providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us, under contract.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

We keep emails and enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with them, and for up to two years afterwards unless an ongoing relationship means we need them for longer.

Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work, unless you choose to accept analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
